About
Junior Skills Challenge is an online and interactive program that focuses on developing the key golf skills of putting, chipping and driving. The top competitors nationally are invited to compete in the annual Junior Skills Challenge National Event that will be hosted by Golf Canada
The Golf Manitoba Junior Skills Challenge is proudly supported by the Alex & Peggy Colonello Foundation and the Southside Golf Course. Through the generosity of the Foundation, Golf Manitoba is able to offer this event at no cost to participants.
Event Details
Date: July 14, 2024
Host Venue: Southside Golf Course
Time: Registration opens from 2-3pm with the event running from 3 to 5pm. The range, short-game area and putting green will also be available starting at 2pm for players to warm-up.
Cost: Free
Other: A lunch will be provided to all participants.
AGE CLASSIFICATIONS
The top ranked players will be determined in each of the identified age classifications below:
- Girls 7 to 9
- Boys 7 to 9
- Girls 10 to 11
- Boys 10 to 11
- Girls 12 to 13
- Boys 12 to 13
- Girls 14 to 15
- Boys 14 to 15
*the age classifications are based upon the participants' age as of the date of the National Event.
**All ties are calculated using an automatic formula built into the National Leaderboard. Ranking is determined by total score, then eliminating driving and then chipping.
How to Register
To register, you must create a user account along with a password. Please note, for more than one entry per email address, you must add "+1" before the @ symbol. For example:
- janesmith@golf.com (for the first participant)
- janesmith+1@golf.com (for the next participant and so on)
